   Hi, I think what you’re doing is great cuz I’ve heard that Robert Pattinson had no plans on writing songs for new moon. So I’m looking forward to hearing your song/songs! And also I like the song “Again”, but I thing the next should be more acoustic

   I have your back one hundred percent and I really want to help you with this song because I love Edward and Bella they should have a song especially written for them. So I obviously voted for Edward and Bella and I know they are going to win because the story is Edward and Bella forever. Thank you for trying to help bring this magical world to life and I know that however the song comes out, it’s going to be amazing!!!!!! This movie is going to be amazing!!!!! So let’s do this!

   I’m really surprised that you haven’t gotten any comments. People who love Edward and Bella should so want a song dedicated to them. I know I do. I’ e always been trying to find one that fits them perfectly because I have read all the books. I have found songs like Still in Love and I Will Always Love You which totally fits New Moon but I want to see something that tells a story if you know what I mean. Something that touches twilighters’ hearts and helps them understand what Edward and Bella are going through. I have really fell in love with this story and I know it is going to stick for years to come and that is why I want to help you. Some people say’ ” oh, you’re obsessed” and ” what’s so great about Twilight?” and then when you try to explain it to them….. You can’t. Believe me, I have tried many times. You have to be brave enough to pick up the story and just read from the start to the finish and then people will understand that it’s not just about a simple girl who falls in love with a vampire, it’s a story about love, sacrifice, courage, loyalty, good against evil, and most of all an experience that you can’t just forget. It becomes a part of you and influences you in such a way that is completely indescribable. Edward loves Bella just as she loves him and it is really an amazing feeling to see that brought to life. The song should definitely have something to do with how Edward does not want to take her soul away but he really is not. All the good that these vampires do means that they do have a soul and Bella sees that and therefore she loves Edward for what he is, who he is and that he tries so hard to be good. So the song can revolve around their desperation to stay together no matter what.

   i really love your song again , i thank that you will make a good song for new moon. maybe you need to look at the part when edward leaves bella or maybe when she goes to italy to save him and he comes back to be with her

   I was thinking about something, if you were going to write from Edwards perspektiv you should really read Midnigthsun on Stephanie Meyer’s website! The story is just another variation of Twiligth but you get to understand more how he thinks.

   ok… hmm, i am brazilian, so i do not know if you will understand what i will say… I divided the book in 3 parts.
   1º is perfect and at the same time sad, it goes to the begining until he leave her.
   2º is sad, just sad. it goes from the part that she “wakes up” untill she jump into the ocean.
   3º is the BEST when she goes to Italy and “save” Edward, and after she asks to the cullens to vote if she should be a vampire or not be, and after Ed asks to marry with her.
   So if you want to make a music to Ed and Bella you should look at the 1º and 3º part, but if it goes to Jacob and Bella you realy should look at only 2º part.
   I hope you understand… P.S I think it should be Ed and Bella’s music.

   I was thinking that lyrically writing about Edward as a lingering shadow in Bella’s life her struggles to move on. B/c I noticed you were reading the book I don’t know how far you have gotten, but Jacob is Bella’s sun he warms her and help put her back together. She still has a great struggle giving up any part of Edward, even putting her self in danger just to her his voice. To have part of him know he was really in her life at some point. I thick it might be good to go from that kind of view point, someone who has something so light and wonderful but hunted by a angel she is unwilling to let go of. He might be the shadow on her sunny day and she waiting for the Dazzle to come back, ok thats lame but I am rambling now.

   Still making him a shadow something that lingers, she also takes about the black whole that was hear heart her pain, this book is very painful. I found it the one I stayed up all night and finished b/c i was like omg how could he do that, so putting those kinda raw emotions of how alone he left her feeling, would be great for a heart reaching ballad.

   One idea that might be nice is a duet and a little of Edwards pov and Bella’s pov about there longing for one another. I don’t know i love duets I love to hear a little harmonizing and just making it really Organic sounding. Lots of strings might sound good when I was in school we did this one think where we went and recorded a few people in a volunteer orchestra adding the real with the midi sounded lovely and gave it a really full sweet sound.

   ok but now I am really rambling but thats kinda how i see Bella and Edwards love big and grand and they need all the good stuff… they are timeless and classic. There song should be the same

   Like NewMoon1901, I’m surprised you haven’t gotten more comments. Your song “Again” is so Bella and Edward…did you write this b/4 Twilight the book? Anyway, I think a song about Bella and Edward for the end when they are reunited would be best. “Again” would be a good fit there too. It’s upbeat and that is what is needed at that part before it goes into the rather dark Volturi section. I hope, despite the darkness of the material, these new directors don’t try to make it so action packed that the love story is obliterated. How the story plays out on screen has alot to do with the music. Good luck.

    I’m had some troubles with deciding who I think the song should be about. Because as you said: The book is about Jake and Bella, but the whole story is about Edward and Bella. So I decided to read the book again and I think Edward and Bella. Because: Even though Edward isn’t there, he is. Every little choice that Bella make, is a choice she make so she can hear Edwards voice again. You know..
    Motorbike-thingy -> Not to have fun with Jake, but to hear Edwards voice.
    Cliff-diving -> again not because she wants to try it with Jake, still because she wants to hear Edwards voice..
    Now to which part it should be about..

    I don’t think that the song should be about a special part you know.. Maybe it could be about the whole thing between Bella and Edward – He leaves her, unprotected, hurt and alone. Shes sad, life losses its meaning for her, but in the end.. They end up beeing together again.
    But that might seem like every love song tho’. Well. I feel like I’m only discussing with myself . woops.
    But really much good luck with writing the perfect song for New Moon!
    I’m looking so much forward to hear it!

    I was kind of hoping that this project would turn out to not be yet another way for Edward and bella to sound like one big angst fest. I AM NOT TEAM JACOB. I say that first because the song should have been about Jacob/Bella/Edward all in one. The song should mostly be about jake loving her but it never being enough to fix her, and how it only got worse when Edward came back because she got better without Jake. Does that make sense?

    But, the Edward Lovers got to this song first. And it’s another Bella loves Edward song. Or an Edward loves bella, but she’s so fragile. I’m alittle dissapointed, but as long as you do your best to make it sound completely different from the stereotype, then it should be ok. You know, maybe you’ll be good, if you don’t listen to individuals instead of just taking one poll.

    I don’t mean to sound witchy, this is just my opinion that my best friend agrees with.

    Naomi – I am tean=m Edward/Bella in a die-hard way. But the song should not be just another Edward/Bella story. Bella, in the novel is mostly living in her own head, but we will see other people’s reactions in the movie so we should hear music that’s like that too. Right?

    As much as we all want it to be about Edward and Bella and never anything else, listening to it I cannot stop thinking about how Jacob feels towards Bella. The lyrics portray, in my opinion, Jacob’s insight re-guarding Bella. The song is more uptempo which better suits the fun relationship they share whereas, as beautiful as this song is, with Edward you would expect a ballad or something with more intensity or even a orchestral piece because what those two characters share is immensely stronger that what Jacob and Bella share. (Re-guarding the orchestral piece – I think that’s why Bella’s lullaby by Carter Burwell was a favorite from ‘Twilight’). ‘New Moon’ contains a major twist: when Edward leaves and unfortunately for those who support ‘team Edward’ – which is practically everyone, Jacob plays a significant role re-guarding Bella’s progression and growth. In saying this, I believe Jacob should get some recognition re-guarding his feelings and emotions towards Bella. Considering also (depending on how the film portrays Jacob and Bela’s relation) how the audience could easily misinterpret Jacobs feelings for Bella simply as ‘friendliness’ without any evidence of his feelings. This song is perfect for that recognition and for allowing the audience who haven’t read the book come to terms with Jacob’s mental status. I think the song would only intensify the drama too, seeing as hardly anyone wants Bella to fall for Jacob – and unless you have read the books, initially that’s what your scared of. I think the song would have a massive impact on Bella and Jacob and reveal the distortion of their relationship further. It would, I can imagine, erupt sympathy for Edward – even though he left Bella and the audience should feel negativity toward his character it would have a confusing effect. I hope that all made sense! Whatever you decide to do with it though, I’m sure it will be amazing. I love this song, great job! I absolutely cannot see what you do with it.

    I’ll just add: Don’t hesitate to make it about Edward and Bella though, because the song is so beautiful and has such strong meaning behind it. That’s the way every Twilight fan would want it anyway! We love their infallible relationship. Its probably a win win situation. Good luck!
